Zoe Sorrell began playing piano at the age of 5, and a year later she was telling everyone she met that she was going to be a musician when she grew up. Although she ended up going to university for the flute, her love for piano never diminished, and today she maintains an active piano studio both privately and at the Winchester Thurston School in Pittsburgh. Sorrell adamantly believes that no other instrument better sets young people up for success in ear training and music theory. Sorrell credits her piano background for a vast amount of her success on the flute.
Zoe is currently accepting new piano students in her home studio. For information about lessons, please fill out a student application form here.
